Each Prime Age Decision Guide is published alongside a Prime Age Report. 

While our reporting investigates questions of public importance, our Decision Guides help older adults and their families understand the decisions those issues may require.

Grounded in evidence from public administration, gerontology, health policy, caregiving research, economics, and investigative journalism, each guide explains the questions to ask, the options to consider, and the tradeoffs behind important decisions.

Our goal is not to tell families what decisions to make.

Our goal is to help them preserve informed choice before circumstances begin taking those choices away.

As new Prime Age Reports are published, additional Decision Guides will be added to this library.
