About Our Founder
Meet Gloria, Founder of Prime Age
Gloria became a family caregiver in 2014 while helping care for both of her parents. After her father passed away in 2021, she continued supporting her mother and navigating the complex realities of aging and long-term care.
Through that experience, she discovered a problem shared by millions of families: critical information about caregiving, long-term care, and aging often becomes available only after a crisis begins.
A former military broadcaster, journalist, and federal public affairs specialist, Gloria spent her career helping people understand complex issues. She founded Prime Age to bring that same commitment to aging and long-term care through investigative reporting, practical guidance, and analysis of the policies shaping how Americans age.
Prime Age exists to help families prepare earlier, make informed decisions, and better understand the systems that affect older adults and caregivers.
